The Sea Shore Team and
Long and Foster Real Estate
understand that this has been a difficult time. We’d like to wish everybody the best of health. We hope soon we will collectively have this period behind us.
We appreciate your patience as we have worked in conjunction with local businesses, residents, and municipal leaders to find answers to the questions you have.
There have been major developments in the last 7 days. Collectively, these developments have been VERY Positive and we are now very confident that local officials in collaboration and agreement with the state have a plan that will allow residents and renters to enjoy Summer 2020 at the shore.
On May 7th, the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce released these notes from a call with Mayor Leonardo “Lenny” Desiderio. The following points were also echoed in the mayor’s weekly message which you can find below:
· Long term rentals of 30 days or more can begin in SIC on May, 11.
· Short term (weekly) rentals may begin on June 1st.
(The mayor believes this may be adjusted to May 30th shortly.)
· The beaches and promenade opened on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10.
· Restaurants are open for take-out and delivery.
· Businesses including restaurants are on stand-by for notice allowing
full service with safely limited occupancy.
It should also be noted that the Cape May County plan (link below) is committed to a safe re-opening of public and business facilities as early as June 1.
The Sea Shore Team of Long and Foster,
as always, are here to assist with any of your Real Estate questions, and most importantly,
Stay Healthy and Safe!
